In 1956, under Mayor Jose Gatuslao, Mrs. Gimotea traveled to The National Library in Manila. She brought home allocated books for Himamaylan. Each box meant new subjects, new authors, and new ideas. The collection grew, and more readers found something they loved. 🧡🧡🧡
